Job Purpose:

The successful incumbent will provide support to leaders and staff (hourlies, salaried, management) in the Caterpillar Distribution Centre in Dubai.

Duties will include, not limited to:

  • Implement people strategies to attain the Facility Targets & Metrics.
  • Support leaders in enhancing employee experience based on data review and executing action plans driving a positive work culture.
  • Support with Performance Management and compensation processes.
  • Talent acquisition, Onboarding and Employee Separation.
  • Support with Training & Talent Development plans.
  • Organize All Employee Meetings, events & activities to promote engagement.
  • Advise Leadership on divisional initiatives, enterprise updates or strategies.
  • Manage employee relation – promote engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, attend to employee concerns/grievances.
  • Advocate for HR information systems and data accuracy.
  • Support technology enabled HR processes.
  • Liaise with local Jebel Ali Free Zone Authorities.
  • Following up on local regulations in UAE in cooperation with legal department.
  • Provide HR solutions to leaders and employees in relation to expense reporting, HR policies & procedures, immigration matters etc.
  • HR Collaboration across divisions in Dubai; supporting with onboarding activities.
  • Participate in Value Stream business Transformation processes and share HR enhancement ideas & people impacting projects.
  • Share best practices with HR communities locally and within EAME region (local regulations, process improvements).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors level degree, with 1st working experience in Human Resources (generalist discipline) environment.
  • Must be proficient in the full MS office suite.
  • Knowledge of local labour regulations.
  • Must be fluent in English and another language.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to drive human resources projects forward leveraging knowledge of the business.
  • Prior experience with Workday, Teams, and SharePoint a bonus.
