Overview

The Manager, Patient Services is responsible for the providing an effective and efficient Administration and Patient Services Department with the Port Pirie Regional Health Service. The Manager will provide accurate and prompt data collection with in depth understanding of the SA Health guidelines and reporting requirements. He/she will be a resource for all sites within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) for SA Health Guidelines and reporting requirements. These include casemix, medical records, clinical coding, discharge summaries, overnight/day stay admissions, ED and Outpatient activity and statistical reporting and patient clerical and reception services. The Manager will also be accountable for the day to day running of the Specialist Clinics for the bookings and clerical service for the visiting Specialists and resident Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.
