We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our Commercial Banking team in Sydney. You will be relied upon to specifically manage all support needs for the team.

Taking responsibility for the team's everyday administrative needs, effectively and proactively prioritising to ensure the team can seamlessly serve the needs of our clients. Requiring minimal direction, your dedication and keen eye for detail will ensure you're able to provide flawless support to the group.

Your effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a broader Assistant population is a must. You will be managing various responsibilities, people and timeframes, whilst being adept across systems, policies and procedures.

You'll be a reliable and motivated individual, someone who is adaptable and able to deliver on all requests made of you. You'll have the ability to problem-solve, as well as be able to read your audience, use sound judgement in your decision making, whilst drawing on your previous experience.

Job responsibilities

  • Diary management across different time zones
  • Domestic and international travel management
  • Answering calls / client liaison and a ssistance with client and ad hoc events
  • Management of expenses / invoice payments
  • Arranging room bookings and video conferencing facilities as required
  • Assist with data input, spreadsheet management and presentation preparation including organising printing
  • Assist with staff onboarding including requesting equipment set up and system access requirements
  • Other adhoc administrative tasks/projects as required

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' administrative experience
  • Experience in a professional or financial services environment will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate typing skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
