What You Will Achieve As a Senior Manager directly supporting the Site Production Lead, you will be required to set objectives for multiple projects. Your managerial and technical skills will be helpful in leading colleagues in the manufacturing division. Your understanding of the external marketplace and customer requirements will help you exhibit business expertise. You will be relied on to manage operational activities that support mid-term goals and set direction for the division. It is your dedication that will make it possible for Pfizer’s customers and patients to receive the medicines they need, when they need them. How You Will Achieve It

  • Set objectives for and manage multiple projects within the division.
  • Guide and direct Technology teams to complete manufacturing/project support activities, such as significant root cause investigation, process changes.
  • Work with the rest of the Operating Unit leadership team to meet the objectives.
  • Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in a constant state of compliance and audit readiness in line with current regulations, Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS), and business needs.
  • Work with developmental scientists and engineers on equipment installations, validations, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure {Current} Good Manufacturing Practices {part of GxP} compliance.
  • Liaise with Global Technology Group to influence and where applicable, take ownership for best practices in Pfizer Technology to support the business.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams as applicable and provide guidance to other groups involved in validation projects.
Qualifications Must-Have
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years’ experience
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Good experience in a Supervision or management role
  • Good knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools
  • Strong people management experience
  • Proactive in engagement with key stakeholders
Nice-to-Have
  • Master's degree
