Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities

Supports Sales Representatives in connecting with existing and potential clients, and identifying their clinical needs, goals, and constraints. Promotes company products to current and potential customers within a defined region. Provides detailed product specifications for the development of client solutions. Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and services, developing creative and feasible solutions. Trains and educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and live demonstrations. Performs patient follow-up to ensure customer and patient success with the implanted products.

  • Provides clinical support including answering questions, resolving issues, and providing patient follow-up for company products
  • Develops good rapport and establish trusting relationships with key spine surgeon customers
  • Develops knowledge of all products and procedures to support clinical questions that arise
  • Evaluates problems and finds appropriate solutions to appropriately support surgeries and cases
  • Keeps abreast of all new product developments, clinical data and surgical techniques
  • Provides regular reporting deliverables within the assigned timeframe
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills / Capabilities
  • Solid comprehension of the scientific method, general medical terminology, and spinal anatomy
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and scientific search engine
  • Strong ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Education and Experience
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in medical device sales or a clinical position
Travel and/or Physical Requirements
  • Up to 90 %
