ABOUT THE POSITION

You’ll be working in the Minted Products Department within the customer service team. In this role you will be responsible for answering telephone calls and emails with the aim of identifying the needs of the customer and providing complete information on our range of products and services, processing both orders and guiding customers through online processes.

This role entails sales order processing, good record keeping as well as adherence to various policies, procedures and government legislation.


ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for good customer service and sales. You’ll need to have previous experience in a customer service and strong sales administration environment dealing with phone and email enquiries. Proven written, oral communication skills, listening and complaint resolution skills. You’ll also be comfortable with up-selling and cross-selling our products.


MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Respond to customer phone calls and email enquiries in a timely manner
  • Process retail orders within with a high standard of accuracy
  • Facilitate bullion sales and purchases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures and legislation
  • Be trained in the Perth Mint Compliance requirements for AML/CTF Legislation
  • Perform administrative tasks, such archiving, records management, responding to emails and customer service-related tasks.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Help customers navigate our website, assist with online registrations, and troubleshoot any website related issues that may arise.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in sales or call centre environment
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proven record in delivering customer service excellence
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Ability to handle customer complaints effectively and professionally
  • Proven ability to work within and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Sound computer literacy skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Sound administrative and numeracy skills
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills highly desirable
