The Securities Records Management Officer is critical to making this happen and will be responsible for fulfilling physical documentation release requests to facilitate internal/external legal reviews, segmented customer document transfers and discharge/ release matters. The Officer is also responsible for the coordination/forwarding of physical documentation to Iron Mountain for imaging/custody, ensuring ANZ’s core systems such as CCMS, and Iron Mountain’s systems such as Review and ReQuest are accurately maintained / updated by recording the location details of physical documentation, and assisting with physical document related enquiries/ escalations.

The expectation of the Officer is to support effective risk management, by actively promoting risk awareness within IOA, embedding a culture where risk is everyone’s responsibility. Successfully mitigating risk within IOA via effective operation of the control suite.

Role accountabilities

This role is accountable for:
Deliver on service benchmarks and customer expectations
Ensure the highest level of customer service support is provided thus contribute to business profitability by ensuring quality output
Prioritise allocated and self-allocated work in liaison with Manager to ensure prompt delivery to customers and stakeholders
Establishment and building of relationships with internal and external customers on all BU related activities driving customer centric outcomes and values
Advocate your teams/line of business value proposition with all interactions aligned to customer centricity values
Identifying improvements in practices and procedures that will allow team to exceed SLA targets and provide the best possible service
Escalate system fails, issues and risks identified
Embrace business changes introduced to the Team
Ensure self-compliance to prescribed accreditation, policies and procedures of ANZ
What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

Good management and execution of allocated tasks
Attention to detail, knowledge and understanding of risk management principals.
Strong internal and external customer focus and as such a proven ability to provide quality customer service.
Knowledge and understanding of Business Units supported
Previous banking exposure in a similar environment – a knowledge of back office processing, how target times operate and how to work to target times especially relative to loan documentation and securities.
Knowledge of Windows and ANZ customer database systems such as CACHE/Orion, CCMS, ReView and ReQuest.
