Joining the Business and Financial Services section of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, you will manage all administration processes in the development of new and existing rural General Practitioner Agreements and other Clinical Workforce Agreements as appropriate. You will advise, support and undertake procurement and contract management strategies that enable regional Local Health Networks to achieve effective procurement and contract management across the whole supply chain. You will also contribute towards reporting requirements and identification of improvements in procurement and contract management processes and work practices to meet continuous improvement objectives. Through a comprehensive and sustainable rural health system, the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is working with communities to achieve these aims. Core areas of focus include strengthening primary health care, enhancing hospital care, reforming mental health care and improving the health of Aboriginal people.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in developing working relationships with a variety of staff, including medical staff and health administrators. This will be supported by your sound knowledge of the structures and procurement and contract management practices of Government agencies. Demonstrating the ability to set priorities and meet critical deadlines to deliver business outcomes, you will be skilled in analysing, evaluating and applying information and developing innovative solutions to complex problems. A confident communicator, you will be highly effective in developing and maintaining networks and working relationships with people of all levels.
