The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to provide executive support.

As an APS 4 Executive Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Performing “front of office” support functions, including greeting visitors and receiving and responding to phone calls, emails and general correspondence.
  • Managing the appointment diary and meeting arrangements of the Senior Executive Service Officer.
  • Organising and reconciling all aspects of domestic and international travel in line with Defence Travel Policy.
  • Preparing meeting packs, briefings, reports and other documents for senior Defence Committees.
  • Building and sustaining relationships to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining records management systems in line with Defence policies and procedures.
  • Providing administrative support to the executive team as required.

About our Team
This position will be providing support to the Senior Executive Officer of the Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems Branch within the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group. The Branch provides a joint capability and works primarily on three areas: electronic protection, electronic support and electronic attack, and seeks to be recognised and respected as a centre of expertise and global leader delivering and supporting capability solutions in the EWIS and Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar domains.
