What this opportunity involves:
As the Assistant Facilities Manager for Amazon Australia, you will lead a team to manage the day-to-day client activities for the assigned properties and be the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and/or client. The role will assume responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, occupancy services and helpdesk.

A snapshot of the role:
Build and maintain an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation and performance excellence within team
Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client’s expectations are met
Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget
Plan and manage all contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right costs
Actively work to ensure that the site’s financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets and control requirements including the JLL Code of Ethics
Implement building procedures and performance measures and ensure they are maintained at all times
Ensure all Critical Environment (CEM) requirements are met
Oversee the team’s support for MAC & update space management information on a regular basis
Adhere to JLL business conduct by ensuring compliance with the firm’s guidelines, procedures and strategies
Ensure the Operational Risk Management process is implemented and maintained.

If you're a confident self-starter, and you love building client relationships then this is the role for you! You've got excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus. You adopt a hands-on approach to problem solving and can juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic workplace. You think on-the-go and can collaborate with multiple stakeholders with ease. Additionally, you possess:
Prior experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related field preferred.
Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements, critical facilities and vendor management for specialised services is advantageous.
3-7 years proven experience working in a corporate real estate/facilities related field
Understanding of Facilities Management services involving the provision of both reactive and routine maintenance across the allocated portfolio with 24 hour call-out/contract requirement
