Job Description I would like to support one of our potential clients in finding its Interim General Secretary.
This temporary position reports to the Board and will last until they find a suitable candidate for the permanent role. You will (among others) :
- Provide vision and ensure impact
- Define business plan
- Keep an eye on motivation
- Work around public relations
- Support the Board in appointing the next permanent Secretary General
- Work closely with the Management Team and the President
- Supervise legal compliance and governance
- Allocate resources properly
- Follow up on budget and planning
- Focus on fund-raising
- Monitor risks
- Implement efficient processes

- At least one similar experience
- Including proven leadership skills
- Experience in a non-profit / NGO will be highly appreciated
- Exposure to large international networks or organizations
- Fluent in English and French
- Excellent communication skills in both languages are required
- Experience in fund raising and donor relations
- Ability to increase visibility
- Ability to write grant proposals
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Very organized and stress resistant
- Clear and friendly communication, along with a personable phone manner
- Honest and discrete problem solver
