Department IT & Data Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Support Advisor at TVH to support the end users with technical IT problems related to software products, software programs or systems, in order to guarantee continuity within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Follow up the service desk incidents and look for efficient solutions to solve incidents
Resolve current connectivity issues, access problems including password reset
Provide support for video conference, IP communication, On-line meetings, e-mails
Replace/maintain hardware components
Escalate incidents to next level specialist if necessary
Ensure proper execution of administrative tasks related to the Windows environment, telephony and network infrastructure
Map out continuously reoccurring problems and offer support when searching for solutions to ensure that problems can be avoided
Install and configure workstations and related devices for new employees
Install and configure printers for different departments
Install and configure all types of phones

Preferred Qualifications

Desired education level: Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience
1 year experience in this area
Knowledge
Thorough knowledge of computer hardware
Thorough knowledge of the Windows environment, Office suites and Email
Experience with pc installation and maintenance is a plus
Language: Dutch, English and French is a plus
Initiator with problem solving skills
Proven record being self-motivated and showing initiative
Accurate, methodical and committed
Strong communication skills
Team player
