Our role is to manage efficiently any change of transfer agents on Funds eligible in the FundSettle system. This means a close collaboration with external counterparties such as Transfer Agents ("TA") and Fund Management Companie ("FMC") as well as a strong internal coordination between all FundSettle teams involved. This role is key to deliver the expected service towards our clients in terms of order placement but also all asset servicing services. This transversal process is one of the most risky in FundSettle and requires an important risk and client focus as well as close monitoring.
Besides the change of TA, the role of the team evolves as we took over responsibilities from TASM & Network. The team is playing a major in the automation of services such order/transfer placing & confirmation or reconciliation. With MFEX by Euroclear, they are also in charge of the order routing launch for specific FMC liaising with Product.
