About Our Client

They defend the interests of its members, the insurance companies and carry out missions of representation, coordination, study, consultation, information, awareness and finally, training.

Job Description

• You follow the initiatives taken at national and European level in prudential regulations for insurance companies, with particular attention to finance and risk management

• You identify trends and themes in these areas that are relevant to the Belgian insurance industry

• You closely follow the developments of the Solvency II project, examine the impact for our members, and prepare opinions for the sector

• You analyze proposals at the national and international level, as well as their potential impact for the members of the professional union

• You develop positions in terms of solvency and risk management, and advise management on the actions to be taken

• You represent the company at external forums (BNB, European authorities etc...) and are able to convince external partners

• You report to the Risk & Finance Director

The Successful Applicant

• Master degree in economy or finance

• First professional experience of a few years within finance or risk management is a plus

• Knowledge of IFRS

• Communicative and presentation skills

• Knowledge of DU/FR + EN
