This is an opportunity to work with Shalom World’s dynamic Program Team; as a Media Liaison Officer, you will liaise between the resource and the program department (production, post-production, and creative teams), effectively communicating the TV show's objective and the production's technicalities for smooth and efficient production and post-production work.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Program planning, coordination, and execution for activities associated with the Program Department
2. Build and maintain a network of relationships, including management of a comprehensive media contacts database
3. Respond to a variety of daily requests for information and interviews using established baselines
4. Identify resources for various television programs determined by the Program Team.
5. Coordinate interviews based on resource and production team availability
6. Communicate the program concept and basic production requirements to the resources
7. Based on discussions with the program manager, prepare program proposals, and provide the program's production details to the resource
8. Guide the production team on location, help in production set up and coordination on location, and share ministry information and related materials with the guests on a need basis
9. Coordinate interactions between post-production departments and program stakeholders
10. Facilitate the development of scripts for TV shows and TV show promotions
11. Ensure legal compliance based on the guidelines defined by the legal department; acquire approvals and complete the paperwork from resources for smooth production
12. Contribute to the planning, preparation, and organization of major events, LIVE event coverages for TV, ministry presentations, introductions to ministry at expo booth, and effective response to major
developments in the area of public information
13. Work with Catholic conference organizers for event partnership and broadcast on Shalom World TV
14. Build and maintain strong relationships with media and industry to promote and enhance the channel’s public profile
15. Facilitate positive relations between the program department, the public, the media, and all other involved parties
