Liebherr Mining is searching a Customer Support Representative (CSR) who is dedicated to ensuring the safety, effectiveness, and timely delivery of our large excavators and shovels and technical support services.You will be the trusted face of our division, playing a crucial part in managing on-site customer interactions, strategic component planning, and the seamless provision of parts and service offerings.


We are seeking a bilingual professional fluent in both English and French to assist our customers in eastern Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Organize pre-delivery inspections of equipment, ensuring readiness and compliance with standards.
  • Manage and monitor on-site Liebherr equipment, focusing on recommending corrective actions to improve equipment condition and performance.
  • Report significant or recurring maintenance events to prevent high costs or production delays.
  • Contribute to the development and management of site budgets and forecasts, aligning with operational goals.
  • Assist in developing preventative and scheduled maintenance plans, programs, and work instructions, collaborating with Planners and Site Maintenance Staff.
  • Advocate for strategic Parts Planning with customers, emphasizing its importance for optimal equipment performance.
  • Provide regular feedback on Customer Maintenance Strategies and long-term planning to Parts Planning Supervisor and Parts Managers.
  • Establish and maintain robust customer relationships, serving as a reliable point of contact.
  • Document detailed records of inspection reports, including undercarriage and machine inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Competencies
  • Bilingual fluency in both French and English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to reside in any Eastern Canadian province (from Ontario eastward) with access to a major international airport, facilitating regular travel as part of the role.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years' dedication to OEM support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with large excavators and shovels in a mining environment.
  • Commitment to following instructions, guidelines, and protocols meticulously.
  • Ability to meet mine site access requirements.
