Job Description
Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, you will assist in the execution of memorable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Care and inspect all flatware, tableware and kitchen equipment to ensure a superior sanitization standard
- Clean and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other assigned areas
- Pick-up and dispose of all trash in all food and beverage areas
- Ensure all breakages and chipped items are taken out of circulation and inventoried
- Report any instances of concern to F&B leadership including any items or equipment in need of repair
- Clean all dishes, glass wear, cutlery, buffet ware, pots and pans either by hand or by using an industrial dishwasher
- Ensure the kitchen & banquet Colleagues have the needed clean dishes, glass wear, cutlery, buffet ware pots and pans required to service our guests
- Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
- Ensure items are removed from circulation that are no longer functional
- Ensure floors are being kept up with proper sweeping and mopping and clear of hazards and obstruction
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience is an asset
- Self-motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Organized and a great team player
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Ability to work independently from a task list to complete list

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing and pulling
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
