BLANKSLATE Partners is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for a confidential client within the computer software industry. As a CTO, you would be leading the technological development and advancement of our client's product line. This includes overseeing the technical aspects of the company's overall strategy, as well as its day-to-day operations.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of plans for the technical infrastructure of our client's software products and services.
  • Oversee the management of the technology department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of quality services to our clients.
  • Collaborate with the company's leadership team to identify business opportunities and goals, and provide expert technological advice and insights to aid decision-making.
  • Conduct research into emerging software development trends and technologies, ensuring that our client's products remain up-to-date and competitive.
  • Establish communication channels with clients, ensuring that their technological needs are met to the highest standard, on-time and on budget.
  • Coach and mentor technical staff, providing guidance and insight into industry best practices to create a productive and collaborative team.
  • Ensure adequate resources are in place to support technology goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CTO in a software development company.
  • B.Sc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design, and programming languages.
  • Expertise in agile development methodologies and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical staff.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work with a client confidentially as well as with internal stakeholders.
