The role we are offering you:

By joining our test specialists team, you will have the opportunity to directly participate in the simulator realization. Are you ready to be involved in the following tasks?

  • Prepare engineering test plans for products / projects and performs flight simulator testing.
  • Make maximum use of computer tools (Lab, VLAB, plateforme) to perform engineering testing.
  • Report test results and provide recommendations to project team to assess project risks.
  • Use aircraft technical documentation to provide engineering support to software developers, test pilots and customers.
  • Prevent snag migration prior to customer acceptance by identifying and actively participating in the resolution of defects as early as possible during the project execution.
  • Participate in simulator qualification.
  • Undertake independent analysis and provide recommendation to improve the software and hardware development processes.
  • Carry out engineering testing assignments requiring general familiarity with flight simulator simulation techniques.
  • Report test results and provide recommendations to project team to assess project risks.
  • Use aircraft technical documentation to provide engineering support to software developers, test pilots and customers.
  • Represent CAE for simulator qualification issues.
  • Communicate with the qualification authorities to clarify regulation.
  • Respond to customers' training-related needs in a courteous and timely manner to ensure that flight training equipment is consistently reliable and available.
  • Perform logistical/administrative duties as required. 
  • Shift work and international travel required.
  • Candidate should know advance aircraft knowledges.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A bachelorâs degree in Engineering.
  • At least three years of relevant experience (knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamical models and pilot training environment).
  • An interest and an availability for traveling.
  • As an asset, knowledge of internal procedures (manufacturing, software, etc.).
