Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as RF Antenna Development Engineer (m/f/d)WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In this Early Career program, you will get a unique opportunity to get extensive training in different international areas and teams.
We want to help build your strength so that you can contribute to technological leadership in the future.
The goal is to prepare you ideally for the following topics:
Performance of RF and PIM measurements with state-of-the-art equipment
Development and further development of series antennas in the following frequency range 600 MHz - 4.2 GHz
Present your results to the development team and committees
Drive strategic technical leadership
Perform continuous analysis and requirements processing
Develop and test high-quality products
Perform troubleshooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvement of products and processes
Develop competencies in specific technical areas
The first direct work tasks:
Introduction based on a test antenna project
Familiarization with the current antenna technology and component construction kit
Training for the internal 2D simulation tool based on AWR
Execution of 2D simulations with an internal tool based on AWR
Build up and optimization of laboratory prototypes
Possibly first 3D simulation with known tools such as CST or HFSS, depending on the current level of knowledge
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification, ideally with an RF background.
Initial experience in RF, antenna technology and design are particularly advantageous.
Strong interest in cellular networks and radio and RF antenna technologies, initial experience in the topics is an asset
Initial experience with 2D and 3D EM simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, AWR, and ADS is desirable.
Knowledge of PIM / EMC design and measurements is desirable
Experience in one or more key disciplines (RF design, component design, radiator design, PIM, RF metrology) is considered an asset
Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, C++, C#
An analytical and scientific approach to work
High willingness to travel and stay for a short assignment in another country is mandatory
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration in an international environment
High level of self-motivation and structured approach to work
Command of the English language, both written and spoken
German language skills are a plus
