Customer Programs Manager – Central Europe (m/f/d)

As a Customer Programs Manager (m/f/d), you will be a part of the Chemical Management Services team for our Aerospace team. The main responsibilities are to provide support throughout the program launch, oversee implementation and support the program over the life of the contract. You will be the primary contact for any customer inquiries throughout the contract relation. Managing customers in Central Europe Region.

This role can be based in Germany. The Program Manager will report to the EMEA Customer Programs Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Help implement chemical management program at the customer. Execute all defined contract obligations over life of program.
• Support the identification and prioritization of annual cost savings projects and the development of appropriate strategies to meet PPG profitability objectives and customer (guaranteed) cost savings goals.
• Identify resources, develop, and maintain Project Management timing charts that outline all activities to be accomplished within yearly time frames.
• Manage inventories at PPG chemical management programs and support with supplier issues/problems arise and implement resolutions.
• The incumbent will manage the KPI metric packs per customer and support and/or conduct quarterly business review meetings.
• Work closely with ASC and corporate purchasing functions to further strengthen supplier contacts and development of strategic partnerships with selected suppliers.
• Implement lean production concepts, including 5S, kaizen, standardized work, and Kanban.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role in either customer facing role, sales, marketing, operations/logistics, technical service/BPI.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in either an engineering discipline or business-related.
• An excellent command of German and English.
• You have experience dealing with customer queries and implementing process improvements.
• You are able to travel up to 40% of your time.
