Responsibilities (Text Only): Main Accountabilities: - Create buy-in for the product vision with the main stakeholders - Develop product portfolio, pricing and positioning strategies - Define product volumes and feature take rates through a strategic and data driven understanding of the market, customer, competition, and company business model - Translate product strategies into detailed product features, contents, and requirements as input for the product development teams - Scope and prioritize programs and activities together with the product development team optimising resources and to budget - Drive new product launches working together with marketing, sales, customer service, and other product management team members Job description: - Be passionate about developing zero-emission trucks for European customers and be the Voice of the Customer (VOC) within the product development team - Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners - Work with the joint venture parent company product managements teams to develop product pricing and positioning strategies - Manage the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements from customers across the EU markets - Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact - Work closely with the engineering teams to deliver quick time-to-market solutions - Ensure relevant product and service Change Requests are created, approved, and industrialised - Visit customers to solicit feedback on company products and services - Support the execution of the program to agree time, cost, investment & quality targets fulfilling the program scope, content, and requirements - Leadership: - Cultivate team spirit, accountability & motivate team to strive for excellence together - Encourage collaborative approach across all stakeholders, help identify solutions to critical issues - Organise regular meetings to help accelerate progress - Reporting: - Present, publish & maintain all approved features, content, volumes and industrialization milestones for all approved programs - Approve & maintain EU product grids Qualifications (Text Only): Required skills and qualifications: - Demonstrable work experience in product management or as an associate product manager - Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle - Ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to management - Good technical background and understanding of commercial vehicles and UX, EU market preferred. - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job - Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, or business development discipline
