About the RoleHow you will contribute
- Personnel planning incl. disciplinary and technical management of all employees at the Ludwigsfelde site
- Planning and coordination of the optimal use of transport volume and warehouse space
- P&L responsibility for the site
- Coordination and management of site relocation incl. negotiations with landlords
- Ensuring order control and quality in compliance with costs and KPIs
- Negotiations with subcontractors to purchase additional transport volume
- Definition and implementation of the required processes in the operational area, as well as monitoring of their compliance and adjustment in case of need for change
- Responsibility for the implementation and achievement of agreed targets in the operational area. Monitoring of targets, definition and follow-up of measures in case of non-fulfillment of predefined key figures
- Continuous optimization of work processes and route planning in the disposition and warehouse area
- development, monitoring and compliance with quality and productivity indicators
- Compliance with cleanliness and safety guidelines; involvement in the development of interface concepts with other internal departments
- Ensuring and complying with all legal social regulations, occupational safety regulations and standards, as well as promoting accident prevention measures
Your ideal qualifications
- Ideally, you have a university degree
- You have proven experience in warehouse management with inventory management and interfaces with customers and suppliers
- You have experience managing a staff of employees
- You have excellent leadership skills
- You are results oriented and a motivator
- Additional qualifications in logistics are desirable
