Responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own prototype vehicle before and after test&validation activities incl. planning, coordination and maintenance
- Plan, coordinate and track hardware, software incl. function maturity on vehicle level
- Support vehicle commissioning, production as well as vehicle validation including but not limited to failure reporting, problem resolution and maintenance (“flying doctors”)
- Serve as interface vehicle operations
- Provide transparency vehicle status. Define necessary activities and reasonable deadlines to maintain vehicle availability in required condition.
- Define planning, tracking and reporting tools and processes.
- Align vehicle operations activities with all involved parties.
- Alert management in case of unsolvable conflicts. Offer alternative paths.
- Provide early warning when facing responsibility gaps on vehicle level.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Degree in Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Automotive Testing Experience
- Experience with automotive software development, instrumentation, and calibration tools (Vector CANape, ETAS INCA, etc.)
- Experience with automotive DAQ systems
- Certification of HV training.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, and Automotive Ethernet) and electrical architectures.
- Troubleshooting experience with electromechanical systems (CAN, LIN, LV, HV )
- Experience developing and executing test plans
- Good understanding of system/component design/development processes
- Good communication and time management skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with FCEV and/orBEV vehicles
- Experience in Heavy Truck segment
- Experience with calibration
- Experience with vehicle testing
- Experience with dyno testing
- Experience with pumps, compressors, sensors
- Experience with prototype and production vehicles
