Tasks:

  • Develop suitable models for optimization of day ahead operation of thermal-electric systems.
  • Develop suitable optimization methods for optimal power flow of thermal-electric systems.
  • Implement the strategy in Power Hardware In the Loop (PHIL) environment mimicking real life operation.
  • Critically analyze potential benefits and drawbacks of the sector coupled operation.
  • Prepare the high quality project deliverables according to the project schedule.
  • Publish the research results in the high quality international journal and conferences.

Your Qualifications:
  • Master-degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, computer science, physics or equivalent with excellent grade from reputed university.
  • Strong technical background in modelling using different simulation software (Modelica, ANSYS, Simulink, Labview) with the focus on thermal and/or electric systems.
  • Practical experience and interest in performing Power Hardware In the Loop experiments.
  • Good software development skills.
  • Excellent English language skills. German language is a plus.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team.
