Indirect procurement is a corner stone of the C&A Europe growth strategy. Professionalizing procurement is vital to support the spend profile of the business growth ambitions.

We’re looking for a seasoned finance professional with excellent people skills and experience in Procurement finance support to strengthen our Business Navigation team and support this business on its growth path.

The Business Navigation team provides support to the C&A businesses and its leaders in steering the business towards profitable growth.


Your Responsibilities at C&A:

  • Co-Pilot to the Leader of Indirect Procurement
  • Enable fact-based decision making and performance management for the business leaders by generating insights, identifying opportunities and improvement areas and actively sharing these.
  • Be a sparring partner for the Indirect Procurement and Business Navigation leadership.
  • Execute and manage the budget, planning and forecasting processes.
  • Provide & Review management reports, including procurement savings/benefit tracking, variance analysis (vs. plan, forecast and prior year), with the Indirect Procurement Team.
  • Category Analysis support.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and deep dives.
  • Develop business cases, with clear metrics / benchmarks / thresholds, for new projects.

What we expect from you

  • University degree or equivalent (MBA, CIMA) with a specialization in Finance and Control
  • 5+ years’ experience in business facing finance roles in large corporations
  • Experience in business controlling/navigation , strong business acumen
  • Exposure to fashion, consumer goods or other retail industries is a plus
  • Financial metrics, KPIs and the functioning of P&L (profit & loss), balance sheet and cash flow statements
  • Planning/Budgeting/forecasting (approaches, models and their application)
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
  • Stakeholder management capabilities & strong communication skills
  • Experience in Indirect Procurement is a plus
