JDRoss is representing a major solar energy business in their search of a strategic, entrepreneurial Business Developer specialized in solar parks to expand their vision towards the promising German market.

Our history spans over a decade, and they've established themselves as a frontrunner in the realm of large-scale solar solutions across the Benelux region. With a dedicated vision toward scaling their ground-mounted system projects, your expertise will be instrumental in navigating and capitalizing on opportunities in the Scandinavian, French, and particularly, the German landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forge lasting relationships and secure strategic alliances with project developers, consultants, investors, and solar park owners.
• Drive the discovery of leads and cultivate partnerships aimed at EPC contracts.
• Navigate the sales process from pitch to close, leveraging quotations developed by a specialized international tender team.
• Identify and target acquisition opportunities for project rights within the solar energy sector.

Position Requirements:

• A driven passion for entrepreneurship and an innate ability to spearhead new business initiatives in the renewable energy domain.
• An educational background reflective of a technical orientation, supported by an academic working and thought level.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in selling large-scale and technically complex projects.
• Prior professional engagements and working knowledge of the German market.
• Proficiency in both English and German languages is essential for effective communication.
• Residency within the Netherlands or Germany, enabling a close connection with the market of focus.
• Prior experience in the solar energy industry is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
