About the Role
As our Head of Delivery, Service & Operations, you will be a critical leader within the Logistics team. In this role, you'll ensure that the B2B and B2C orders placed via our Logistics platform are fulfilled in a hassle-free manner for customers and drivers. Thus, your efforts will help heighten and enhance the levels of booking to completion rates. You'll also help oversee a troop of managers, employees, and third-party providers, ensuring that they're able to perform their functions to the best of their abilities every day. With your customer-centric attitude, stellar problem-solving and project management skills, and drive to constantly improve service quality, you will be instrumental in determining the supply vs demand rate and provide strategic direction to the Logistics Operations and Business.

What You Will Do

Lead a growing team to meet the increasing demands of Indonesia’s logistics need
Work closely with the Head of Business, Product and Engineering within the Logistics team and abilities to work cross functionally with Food/Transport/Groceries where Gojek’s business needs and requirements arise
Ensure seamless execution of order fulfillment strategy; Track and monitor the Logistics operational processes and ensure that they follow the meet the Standard Operating Procedures and determine its effectiveness while improving these practices
Problem solver; able to use a combination of logic, analysis, experience, to make timely decisions and solve problems, creating effective solutions
Demonstrates agility and resourcefulness by probing all appropriate sources; demonstrates advanced skill and insight in gathering and sorting key information, delivers solutions and decisions that are effective and turn out to be correct and accurate when judged over time and constructively impact the whole organization
Create and present the sales, revenue, and expenses report and realistic forecasts per city to Logistics Management Team
Reliable and responsible leadership skills covering collaboration, negotiation, influencing to work across departments and with external parties
Work with the Operations team ensuring our workers attend and perform to the best of their ability in their daily jobs

What You Will Need

At least 7-years experience in a project management or operations role
Be comfortable with ambiguity, use objective and methodical approach
Communicate effectively and collaborate extensively with cross functional teams
Strong interest in working in a dynamic start-up company environment
Customer oriented mindset
Strategic planning and detail oriented to supervise all fulfilment projects

We are the Logistics Operations team - a group of more than 10 people based in Indonesia. As martabak is to the people of Indonesia, we are to Gojek: providing the nourishment to sustain our business from the inside out. Our main responsibility is to build and manage operations and strategy for Gojek Logistics Platform. Our team is a small, tight-knit family made up mostly of passionate foodies and movie-goers. We work hard and play hard, take pride in what we do, and believe it or not, we actually enjoy each other’s company!
