Resource Industries currently has an opportunity for an experience Site Performance Manager to join our Caterpillar team.
Position Summary:
As a Site Performance Manager, you will work closely with a key customer and dealers to be the single Caterpillar point of contact at the customer mine sites. You will be required to partner with the Dealer Site Manager and the customer to bring resources together to improve the physical and mechanical availability and productive performance of Cat mining equipment. You will need to establish and maintain high-level relationships with customer and dealer decision makers and subject matter experts. Accountable for representing Caterpillar and Cat assigned actions at the customer mine sites. Influence equipment management practices at the customer and dealer, the position must be able to work with the dealer, Caterpillar and the customer to deliver on the agreed equipment performance metrics for the mine site.
Key accountabilities will include:
Develop, implement, and manage equipment management processes at the mine site.
Develop, manage, and report on Continuous Improvement projects.
Manage Caterpillar's business risk as it relates to after-sale commercial & performance support from Caterpillar at the site.
Co-Manage mine site focus and support from Caterpillar with Commercial Manager and Product Support Manager.
Monthly reporting of the customer key performance metrics in DPP and other relevant CAT systems
Required Skills and Experience:
Superior interpersonal, relationship building, influencing skills.
Underground mining site experience is needed.
Position requires previous underground field rep experience, or significant dealer and customer support activities within the Continuous Improvement, service or commercial areas.
Thorough technical knowledge of Caterpillar HRV products and product applications, equipment management, product problem management, and field experience will be beneficial.
Broad underground mining industry knowledge and a strong understanding of dealer operations is required.

The position typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience. Regular mine site visits are required so travel for this position can be up to 30%.
