A Day in the Life
Lead all of the copywriting and research efforts for our key clients.
Write social media posts daily for our thought-leadership clients and collaborate with the creative team to ensure that the visuals and copy are a perfect match.
Create unique website content for thought-leader blogs in the tone of the leader. Research current events that could be relevant for our clients to write about.
Edit Press topics, releases, and articles with a critical eye to improve them.
Quickly and intuitively understand clients, their needs, and their goals, and apply this to the work you do.
Edit any ad-hoc materials to ensure that the highest level of copy is written at all times.
Create articles for publications like Forbes and Fast Company in a very authoritative, leadership tone.
Present work internally and be able to convince both clients and internal stakeholders of your goals and point of view with your projects.
Ability to understand tone and audience to ensure that all content is written correctly, and understand new audiences and tones across industries (we work with leaders in sectors from SaaS to Construction).
Oversee, maintain (and improve) the quality of all written collateral.
Collaborate with all other departments to ensure that all the best work of the agency is being put forward.
Actively voice all of your opinions and look for innovative solutions for all of our brand activities to improve the quality of our end product.
4 years+ marketing, advertising, PR agency, or startup experience in copywriting or a research / strategy-based role is required.
Experience working with US clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present well to clients and internally.
Have an extremely high eye for detail : look for where things can be improved, never miss a copywriting detail, and ensure that each piece of written work is of the highest quality
Have is a positive can-do attitude, willing to take on challenges and go above and beyond for clients.
Taking initiative and bringing innovative ideas is important to succeed in this role, as is putting the work you do above all else.
A strong willingness to learn, experiment, and innovate with all writing techniques.
You’ll thrive in our environment if you know how to wear multiple hats and love taking ideas and running with them on your own.
Extremely organized and able to balance many projects and tones / audiences at once.
Reliable and able to turn last-minute copy requests around quickly.
Resourcefulness is extremely important - you aren’t afraid when you don’t know how to do something as you usually figure it out on your own.
Bachelor’s and / or Master’s Degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, or any other Social Science is required.
Experience working remotely.
Must be flexible to overlap with our global team most hours of the day between 9 am and 6 pm GMT (London time zone) as these are our official business hours.
Cultural sensitivity is very important as we have team members all over the world
Nice to have
Experience working on websites is a plus as it is easier for our copywriters to directly enter the websites we handle to make edits.
Experience using Slack, monday.com, or any other similar tools.
