Site Supervisors supervise the construction works on time, quality, and safety during the construction process. The site supervisor will assist Job captains in the management of control documents, client contact, to elaborate reports, and weekly meetings.
Site supervisors should achieve repeat clients, through great customer service (great attitude, pride, deliver, inspire, follow-up).
Site Supervisor Responsibilities :
Responsible for the entire project(s), start to finish, you are the project(s) leader.
Manage the bidding and coordination phase of the projects by distribution of the bid packages to contractors, scheduling pre-bid conferences, and organize and review the contractor bids to present to client.
Provide construction phase services as construction management in coordination with the Job Captain if it is applicable.
Reviewing contractor construction documents, reviewing daily and prepare weekly reports, leading the weekly construction meetings, reviewing contractor submittals and shop drawings, tracking the construction schedule and reviewing contractor payments.
Assist and leading the weekly meetings to constructions sites. The expectation is to manage the contractor on all architectural and engineering scopes of the project.
Daily inspections on site works focus on time, cost, quality, codes, and safety, according with the engineering and submittals approved, during all construction process.
Coordinate with the contractor the delivery of ending documents and as-built drawings.
Site Supervisor Qualifications :
Strong computer and written and verbal communication skills are essential. Experience in the use of Procore, Newforma, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams experience is preferred.
The ability to speak in English and Spanish (Public speaking) in front of small to large groups of people is preferred.
Leadership of small to larger project Teams.
Knowledge of local and international construction codes.
