Reporting to the Engineering Manager you as a Sr.NPI Engineer will be responsible to ensure that manufacturing processes are being followed to meet the standards defined for the products, as well as develop projects to improve existing processes.
In addition, confirm the investment required for capital goods and tools, as part of a system for the launch of new programs, volume increase and / or continuous improvement program of existing products.
About the job
Coordinate engineering changes and their implementation.
Development of new products and processes
Coordination of the release of new part numbers ensuring compliance with the KPI's of the plant
Lead to the solution of quality problems in manufacturing processes and equipment failures to manufacture
Implement reduction actions - remove control of operators on keys through trial error system operations or poka-yokes.
Participate in cross-functional teams to generate action items to achieve plant metric goals.
Root cause analysis for Product rejected by customer (Complaints) or internal rejections (Non-compliant product).
Validate alternative processes through process deviation
Change the process flow according to the product needs of the plant
Replace tools for a process through the corresponding validation
Location : Matamoros , Tamaulipas.
About you
5 years of experience as a manufacturing, process or product engineer
Knowledge of Analysis Tools and Troubleshooting
Knowledge of Six Sigma Tools
Advanced knowledge in handling Core Tools
Advanced knowledge in Electronics, electrical diagrams and electromagnetic components.
Basic knowledge in air conditioning systems
Knowledge base in materials
Knowledge of welding and stamping processes
Electrical test equipment experience
Knowledge in GD&T
Knowledge of ISO IATEF, QS-9000, quality management systems and ISO 14000 environmental management system
Experience in supervision of professionals
