ethicon.com We are searching for the best talent for PRINCIPAL CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN to be in Ciudad Juarez, Mx. Job Summary : Performs the assigned calibration activities, maintaining the department's calibration objectives with zero over dues.

Performs calibration procedures correctly by using the applicable calibration standards appropriately . Duties & Responsibilities

  • Calibrates, maintains, and safeguards inspection, measuring, test equipment (IM&TE) and s oftware according to guidelines and procedures.
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of written calibration procedures.
  • Maintains calibration records for IM&TE.
  • Development and maintenance of written calibration procedures (for senior)
  • Generates NCR's according to local procedures. (for senior)
  • Ensure all disposition and changes to IM&TE's are made following procedures. (for senior)
  • Responsible for adequate training to Technicians according to Symmetry System (for senior)
  • Compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and other safety precautions within the work area.
  • Ensures that the controlled environmental monitoring is complete and on schedule.
  • Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EHS) responsibilities
  • Follow J&J and Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records, and third -party vendor if applicable.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures, Performs other duties assigned as needed. Experience and education
  • Technical Career Studies or equivalent applicable to the area : Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Metrology, Instrumentalist.
  • Refer Table A for information regarding years of experience required.
  • A Minimum of Technical Education Diploma
  • Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in related fields.
  • BS Degree in progress
