Key Responsibilities

The Director of Events & Entertainment is responsible for all events, entertainment, creative & operational requirements. He/She is required to have an in-depth knowledge of Events & Entertainment Operation Management and Events & Production experience. He/she is responsible for the management of all Events & Entertainment standards, standard operating procedures & leadership of Events & Entertainment department and work closely with HOD of Events & Entertainment in making sure all events & entertainment offerings are executed with the highest standard.

To comply with company standards at all times in order to drive and improve business excellence.
To understand, follow and enforce all standard operating procedures in order to exceed the operational requirements and ensure Guests receive the highest standards of quality and service at all times.
To help achieve department and company objectives, action plans and key performance indicators.
To enforce and adhere to all Malaysian Laws, Health, Safety & Environmental policies, industry and company rules and regulations.
To report safety concerns or incidents to management in order to minimise risk and maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for all Guests.
To manage emergency situations that may arise in order to minimize possible damage, loss or injury to any Guests, Cast & Crew or Company property.
To support the company vision, core values and brand promise.
To represent and promote company profile in a positive manner at all times.
To listen actively to feedback and take necessary action in an ethical, effective and timely manner to exceed their expectations.
To maintain facilities, equipment and supplies in order to minimise damage, reduce wastage and control costs.
To build and maintain relationships with vendors.
To actively seek and implement cost saving programs for all events programs in order to provide positive financial results.

Key Requirements:
B.A. in Performing Arts, with Production & Technical emphasis is highly desirable.
Extensive Events & Entertainment experience required and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast, rapid changing environment.
Minimum of 10 years of Executive Management experience in managing Events & Entertainment Operations.
Minimum of 10 years of Live Entertainment experience. Solid knowledge in Live Entertainment Operations, Events and Production shows.
Experience of budgeting, cost analysis, construction, event planning, contracting & negotiating with third party vendors experience would be an added advantage.
Strong leadership & business acumen skills.
