We are currently seeking a Transport Team Leader to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia!

The Transport Team Leader will proactively track performance data, motivate, and engage team members through effective communication and regular monitoring / support to achieve targets and objectives. Support and assist the Supervisor and Pickup Manager to key client’s service center performance and operational pickup and deliverables.

• Supervise, motivate, and engage your respective team members including drivers to deliver operations excellence through quality performance and continuous improvement.
• Regular and timely information to be shared to respective team members on in mass briefings, advising on any change in process and ensuring compliance.
• Enforce grooming standards in accordance with DHL's guidelines and ensure that staff maintains a professional image to both internal and external customers.
• Assist in ensuring maintenance requirements of facility, vehicles, equipment and infrastructure, are carried out in accordance with regional guidelines and company's requirements.
• Provide backup for absences / peaks in the service center.
• Support Pickup Manager and Supervisor in providing assistance to Customer Service, Security Team and every other related department during investigations, if any.
• Advocate the importance of workplace safety, encouraging safe work practices and environment.
• Understand and observe SOPs.
• Ensure that all customer feedback / enquiries are attended to and most importantly to be reported to the Pickup Manager.

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years relevant in logistic field.
• Good Communication in Bahasa. Fluent in English will be an added advantage.
• Leadership Skills.
