Job Responsibilities

Oversees the planning and controls the flow of materials, products, services and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments. Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Oversight of all warehouse processes, ensure compliance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.
• Coaches, counsels, and disciplines current warehouse employees as needed by enforcing policies and procedures, while creating a safe and friendly working environment.
• Oversees the staff activities to make sure operations flow smoothly, instructs accordingly, and motivates them to perform.
• Establishes, follows and enforces safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements.
• Work with the team to develop, implement, and enforce warehouse and logistics operation systems that create more efficiencies.
• Constantly evaluates warehouse processes and procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Responsible for ensuring that the inventory is monitored accurately within the system and during counts.
• Works closely with the Logistics and Warehouse teams to determine the best practice for product handling.
• Develops, manages, and meets warehouse Key Performance Indicators.
• Able to handle ad hoc projects as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of experience in Logistics/Warehouse operation and people management.
• Able to manage team members effectively.
• Ability to accurately analyze information.
• Detail and result oriented.
• Ability to prioritize between company and individual challenges.
• Negotiating skillfully to arrive at agreements that benefit the company, customer and people.
• SAP experience and knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to see the big picture and grasp complex interconnections and self-driven.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
