Join our Operations team in Malaysia as a Port Delivery Coordinator, where you will be responsible for communicating booking updates with our suppliers and operational management of pre-agreed Cruise Ship port calls as required to ensure the smooth operation of shore excursion operations and the complete satisfaction of our cruise passengers.

Your main duties and responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to those listed below, which forms part of your Contract of Employment. ABOUT THE JOB

Pre-operational execution preparations – securing the suppliers, coaches, Guides and etc for the tours

To coordinate and deliver services / program at the Port during the Cruise Call

Secure and supervise third party services.

Being physically present at the port on the days of operation to deliver excellent customer and cruise line operational service.

Handling correspondence with clients together with the Supervisor/ Team Manager.

Liase with ships and respective operations onboard teams to review, update and arrange all final details, according to pre-approved itineraries.

The position involves days of operation in the port, early starts and demands work during some weekends.

Communicating with port agent to confirm ship schedule and berthing arrangements.

Invoicing and costing. Information is promptly entered into the database

Maintaining a cordial and professional working environment in the Department and with all other business units in the company

To ensure all the relevant quotations extended to customers are file in a central area for easy reference

To respond to all inquiries in a timely manner (within 24 hours)

Invoicing – preparation and dissemination on a timely manner

Verification of suppliers/vendors invoices, bills and payments

Any other duties assigned to you from time to time either verbally or in writing by your supervisor

ABOUT YOU

You have great knowledge, experience and understanding of daily planning and operations in a holiday destination and/or cruise business.

You are a confident decision maker, even when working under pressure.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English, plus fluency in the local language.

You have a pro-active guest service mindset with a clear focus on quality and efficiency.

Able to work in a flexible manner (including different work shifts) depending on cruise ship schedules will be required.

Willing to travel for cruise operations

You are open to learn, grow and drive your career while passionately delivering a great service to our guests and cruise clients.

Driver’s license is a plus​​​
