Job brief

A top brand is looking to hire a creative-minded Head of Sales& Growth to be responsible for overseeing the expansion of their organization. You will commonly play a key role in developing new products and services, identifying new markets to enter, and creating strategies to achieve these goals.

The Head of Sales and Growth will be responsible for managing the sales team, developing and implementing sales plans, building relationships with clients, analyzing sales data, and identifying new business opportunities.

In this role, you may also be tasked with managing other aspects of their company’s growth, such as ensuring that it has adequate resources (human, financial, etc.) to support its expansion efforts.

Responsibilities

- Evaluating new business development opportunities, including analyzing potential markets, assessing client needs, and identifying competitors.

- Drive the growth of brand awareness, lead generation and engagement within our target segments using digital acquisition channels to generate interactions and conversions

- Developing a plan for growth that includes goals, strategies, and tactics for increasing market share in existing markets or creating new ones

- Developing and implementing new products or services that meet customer needs, such as new software applications or mobile apps

- Creating and implementing strategies to acquire new customers or increase sales to existing customers

- Developing strategies to improve employee productivity or satisfaction, including implementing employee training programs or improving workplace culture

- Researching new technologies that could have an impact on the company’s industry or business model

- Analyzing the company’s financial performance against its competitors

- Designing and implementing strategic plans for the company’s future growth or restructuring to help it meet its goals

- Brainstorming with other executives to develop innovative solutions to problems within the company

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree (minimum); Master’s degree preferred in business, economics, or engineering

- 4+ years in senior-level roles, preferably in the FMCG industry/ relevant sector

- 3+ years of business development experience

- Experience across multiple go-to-market motions a plus: enterprise demand gen, account-based marketing (ABM), ecommerce/growth hacking

- Strong analytical skills to understand and interpret data and use it to drive campaigns and growth experiments

- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

- Collaborative team player and self-starter, able to work well with senior leadership

- Excellent communication skills

- An eye for detail with critical thinking skills to execute efficiently.
