About the role:

The APS 6 Senior Engagement Strategy and Innovation Advisor (Digital) is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities including the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team. It will require working collaboratively within the team including sharing and developing specialised knowledge in areas of expertise.

This role will provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. It may be required to coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support the Agency’s objectives.

The role will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to complex, difficult or sensitive issues.

Duties

• Contributing specialist and technical advice on the use of digital technologies to deliver engagement and co-design activities
• Contributing your research and analytical skills to evaluating engagement and co-design functions and developing and testing new approaches
• Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to improve the way we capture and analyse engagement data and insights to inform decision-making
• Contributing specialist knowledge and expertise on new and innovative approaches to engaging with people and other stakeholders
• Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of digital engagement strategies
  

Desirable experience/skills

• Gathering and interpreting customer or user experience to develop solutions to improve experience and drive change
• Providing strategic advice on how to design and implement digital solutions to enhance customer or user experience
• Maintaining a sound knowledge of innovations in digital engagement, including current tools and platforms
• Influencing stakeholders to drive change
