We are currently building a team of Chinese teachers for a part-time/contract job. You must be proficient in it and likewise be able to effectively inculcate the language into others.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing lesson plans and curricula based on the needs of individual students.

• Providing conversational classes where pronunciation and important words and phrases are taught.

• Teaching writing and Chinese composition classes.

• Organizing feedback sessions with students (and their parents/sponsors if applicable).

• Providing suggestions for further learning and scheduling intervention sessions with struggling students.

• Organizing fun events where students can showcase their Chinese language skills.

• Conducting research on teaching methods, materials, and language games that can be used in class.

• Scheduling and preparing students for oral and written examinations.

• Monitoring student's progress by writing up reports and grading assessments.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

1. Proven written and verbal proficiency in Chinese.

2. Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

4. Well-organized and able to handle multiple responsibilities.

5. Detail-oriented and resilient.

6. A teaching certificate or license will be required.

7. Proficiency in MS Office.

Education:

• National Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• at least 3 years of Chinese teaching (Required)

• Chinese with native/bilingual fluency (Required)
