We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Team Lead for Business Development. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of business development professionals and driving the growth and expansion of our business. Your primary objective will be to identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and increase revenue for the company. As a Team Lead, you will provide guidance, support, and mentorship to your team members, ensuring their success in achieving individual and team targets. Responsibilities:

Lead a team of business development professionals, setting clear goals and objectives, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and drive company growth.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.

Build and maintain relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and industry influencers to foster business growth and drive sales.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and finance, to develop comprehensive business proposals and strategies.

Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats, and adjust business development strategies accordingly.

Track and report on key performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management on team performance and progress towards targets.

Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and share relevant insights and recommendations with the team and senior management.

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.

Prior experience in a leadership or team management role, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.

Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative and drive for success.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proficiency in CRM software, sales tools, and MS Office suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₦70,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abuja: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
