Job Title: Sales Manager - Mattress Store
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team at a mattress store. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent sales acumen, and a passion for creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and train a team of sales associates to achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide coaching and guidance to sales team members, conducting regular performance evaluations and setting clear goals.
- Foster a customer-focused culture, ensuring that all customers receive personalized attention and assistance.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate the value and benefits of our mattresses.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure that the store environment is clean, organized, and attractive.
- Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns and events.
- Handle customer escalations and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and generate referrals.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the operations team to ensure product availability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail industry, preferably in mattress sales or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Knowledge of mattresses, sleep products, and related industry trends is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per store operations.
