All about the role

As the Intern you will support the case management team that is responsible for a seamless coordination of long term and/or complex sickness absence cases. You will be responsible for coordinating, administering and supporting the case manager and ER lead.

  • You will support in absence guidance and help ensure compliance is met with both the Dutch Gatekeeper Act and the company's internal policies.

  • You will support administrative duties, and act as a first point of contact for questions.

  • You ensure our employees and people managers get optimal support in order to shorten the amount of time before sustainable reintegration as much as possible, by providing them advice, instructions and status-updates.

  • You support the team with their workload by ensuring files are kept up-to-date, new cases are assigned and communication with stakeholders (both internal and external) is being picked up.

  • You proactively identify areas for improvement with regards to managing sickness and bring suggestions when there are opportunities to improve our policies and processes around sickness management

  • Project management support to help centralise our sick leave process and create more effective as well as efficient ways of managing long term sick leave.


Can you deliver…

Here's what we're looking for from our Case management and Employee Relations intern….

  • Strong analytical skills

  • A strong interest in the field of Wellbeing, Sickness Management, and Case Management

  • Currently studying for a Bachelor's or Master Degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employment Law or Organisational Psychology

  • Available full-time for a period of 6 months

  • Organised, great attention to detail, and highly motivated

  • Working with the team to ensure all activities are managed efficiently and accurately

  • Fun, smart and open-minded person who enjoys working in an international multi-cultural environment

  • You are a self-starter, actively looking for feedback and development opportunities, and flexible

  • Fluent, or nearly fluent in English (our company language), Dutch is a plus
