Summary:
The work schedule for this position is Full Time (40 hours per week).

Duties

This position serves as Staff Assistant to the Ambassador, and front office. The incumbent reports to the Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) and serves as liaison between the front office and other sections/agencies. The primary responsibility of the staff assistant is to ensure that the Ambassador and DCM/Chargé d'Affaires (CDA) are prepared for appointments, meetings, and events by tracking the flow of paper and soliciting supporting documents, briefing materials, talking points, and remarks.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: At least two years of administrative work experience in an office setting.

Education Requirements:
High school diploma required.

Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Fluent speaking/reading/writing in English is required. This may be tested.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office. For USEFMs hired on a Family Member Appointment, the base salary mentioned above will be supplemented with 21.66% Overseas Comparability Pay.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
