Our young and fast-growing team is seeking frontend developers to take charge of our tool which provides simple and transparent solutions for time tracking and business administration.
The impact you will make
We are replacing our current Angular.js front-end, and rebuilding it using frameworks such as React, Next.js and Typescript. This is why we need YOU; experienced React developers who are experts in developing large-scale enterprise applications and are excited about working with Agile and SCRUM.
As a front-end developer you will write clean and testable code using React, as well as review, structure, debug and test the code. You will also analyse system requirements and applications and when needed perform maintenance and upgrades.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- documenting application code, project development and operational procedures
- proposing and advising on the planning and development roadmap to the Product Owner
- mentorship of junior developers through feedback and code review
Your new team
Based in Amsterdam, we are working to provide simple and transparent solutions for time tracking and business administration. Our comprehensive tool is an end-to-end product for hour registration, planning, project management and reports. We started as a small ‘garage’ project 5 years ago and grew rapidly into a stable scale-up of 25 employees, with the current goal to expand by 30 new employees within the next 3 years.
What you bring to the table
You have at least 5 years of experience as a frontend developer and can make architectural front-end decisions and thus, building scalable apps from scratch.
What do we mean by that? You need to excel at:
- React and JavaScript
- Large scale Single-Page-Applications
- Typescript
- Jest
- CSS-in-JS frameworks
- Ability to propose and advise on a long-term / short-term planning and development roadmap for the Product Owner
- Testing both components as well as end-to-end
- Using metrics
- Ability to work in Agile
