ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR DATA PLATFORM ENGINEERING

Our team in Amsterdam currently has an opening for a Associate Director Data Platform Engineering

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that enterprise data strategy is in line with overall business strategy
• Seek management alignment on enterprise data strategy and long term data management roadmap
• Drive cross-BU decisions on data initiatives to take into consideration business priorities
• Challenge initiatives which are misaligned with the enterprise data roadmap
• Define the prioritization framework for data initiatives at enterprise-level
• Provide advisory services to BUs on prioritization and requirements as needed
• Facilitate discussions between BUs for cross-BU data initiatives; coordinate funding and implementation plan
• Define, control, and track a pool of enterprise funding for closing prioritized gaps in enterprise data provisioning capabilities
• Develop an enterprise-wide plan to promote data management/ownership and shift mindsets

YOUR PROFILE

• 15+ years in management role, with 5+ years in strategy
• 10-15 years in technology, at least 5+ years in data management
• Strong leadership experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role
• Strong interpersonal and communication/persuasion skills
• Strong project management leadership
