The Role: Within the Cell Engineering and Sciences department, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cell Line Development Research Associate or Research Assistant. The expertise team in which you would work is responsible for the Cell Line Development of stable producing proteins derived from cell lines and it’s documents for development of all projects. You will support the team in the optimization and automation of these processes to develop high titer producing cell lines with selection of cell lines which give high quality of proteins for our GMP production for the clinic. Key Accountabilities

  • You will perform transfections and selections of clonal cell lines.
  • With the team you will work on creating, optimizing and develop new processes in the cell line development area.
  • You will work with automated systems on the cell culture lab.
  • You will administrate and document carefully all experiments.
  • With the team, you will grow cells, freeze cell banks and produce proteins.
Skills & Experience You take the initiative, enjoy working in a group, and inspire others with your enthusiasm. Moreover, you meet the following professional requirements:
  • You have a completed MLO / HLO education or equivalent.
  • You love to work on the lab cell culture lab and have an interest in documentation and working with LIMS database systems.
  • You are a team player; you are flexible and love to work on the laboratory.
  • You have strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working in a team.
  • You are flexible and capable of running several projects parallel to each other and adjusting priorities appropriately together with the team.
  • You recognize the importance of working according to the agreed research-based Quality System, which includes adhering to procedures and detailed documentation of your work.
  • You have an affinity with automation and optimization in your work.
  • You have an interest in documentation and working with LIMS database systems.
