Operating Room Assistants

For a hospital located in Curacao, Dutch Caribbean, we are looking for Operating Room Assistants.

The Operating Department consists of 7 operating rooms and a recovery room. Surgery is performed in all specializations with the exception of open-heart surgery.

Purpose of the position:

Assisting during – in particular complicated and risky – surgical treatments and examinations and performing medical technical procedures.

Position within the company:

The Operating Assistant reports to the Head of the Operating Room Department.

Main tasks:

• Preparing and assisting with operations;
• Performing post-operative activities;
• Promote quality.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor level education as surgical assistant;
• Positive attitude with an enterprising attitude to work;
• Flexible and creative attitude;
• Follows developments within his / her own field;
• Empathetic and problem-solving capacity;
• Can handle stress;
• Team spirit / collegiality;
• Be able to run waiting and standby services.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Salaris: €2.000,00 - €2.500,00 per maand
