Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Process Excellence Lead to be located in Groningen, Netherlands.

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Black Belt Process Engineer to lead process development activities. You will provide the best process & technology solutions and factory support to meet the design requirements and the business targets. In this role, you will also develop and implement key processes from material and process selection to optimised volume production.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical and process improvement projects including Root cause problem solving and mapping and analysis of existing processes to secure the quality, delivery and cost targets to support production and supply chain teams.
  • Lead, implement and continuously improve our processes to enable global scaling of our organisation.
  • Develop and optimise new and existing manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and implement processes to support new Product introduction into the supply chain.
  • Lead the process capability development for all technical matters, Shop floor support & continuous improvement across the entire production network.
  • Design, develop and implement test plans and validation activities.
  • Engage in a global network for technology acquisition, new product designs and production system solutions for new and existing products.
Qualifications Qualifications

Education:

  • Mechanical / Electrical / Process engineering degree, extensive experience in a regulated industry
Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing and/or Industrial Engineering role in medium to high volume manufacturing
  • Six Sigma Blackbelt Capable of extended cross-functional working, including Engineering, Purchase, Quality and Manufacturing
  • Lean skills - driving continuous improvements, process capability
  • Hands-on mentality and strong collaboration with all teams
  • ICT Skills: Microsoft Office, Minitab
  • Perform data analysis, create documentation and present results
  • Excellent analytical capabilities with a drive to challenge the status quo; eager to learn; puts the team first; robust and passionate to follow given objectives; uses failure as learning experience; excellent communicator with a high sense of urgency
Preferred:
  • Black Belt is Certification in Six sigma or Lean Manufacturing is desirable highly qualified Green Belt considered.
Requires up to 15% domestic and international travel
