Food & Beverage Management Trainee to join the Operational team!
Our hotel features an award-winning rooftop bar & terrace, pop-up restaurant Eastwood Beer & Grill, a Lobby Bar including our own in-house library, our own Eastwood Coffee Store, Amsterdam's most extensive breakfast buffet, fifteen versatile meeting rooms and 557 guest rooms.
Exciting news! The hotel is undergoing a complete renovation, rebranding and repositioning of all Food & Beverage locations in the hotel in 2023 / 2024, starting with the renovation and rebranding of the SkyLounge Amsterdam in the first quarter of 2023. Room inventory redesign will also be included in this upcoming project!
As a
Food and Beverage Management Trainee you will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, the Restaurant & Bar Manager and Meeting and Events Operational Supervisor. You will support the departments whenever and wherever necessary. Your job is to make sure that all operational processes within this department run as smoothly as possible to ensure a perfect stay for the guest.
Assisting the Department Heads in their tasks and duties on both operational as well as management level is included in the job description. This means that you will also assist in the operations of all our Food & Beverage outlets; City Cafe, Room Service, Lobby Bar, the Executive Lounge, Eastwood Beer & Grill, LuminAir and Eastwood Coffee.
You will assist the teams with the correct provision –and potentially preparation- of food and beverage items. You will effectively supervise the service focusing on speed and consistency of service, whilst working in the various F&B Outlets. You make sure that every need is met and the guests feel satisfied.
As you will be working with Guests on a daily basis, you will be expected to contribute to the provision of excellent Guest service. Furtermore, you will also assist in the administration, training and promotion of excellent customer service.
As a
Food & Beverage Management Trainee, you will be responsible for dealing with guest complaints, schedules, special projects as given to you by the F&B Manager and managing departments in the absence of a manager or supervisor.

You do not need to have experience in the hospitality business, but an affinity with hospitality is a must
To fill this position successfully, it is important that you have the following skills:

- Able to deal with stress and work well under pressure
- Confident
- Have a flexible and pro-active attitude
- Fluent in Dutch and English
